We strive to bring women together from diverse backgrounds under the spirit of Multiculturalism for LSG. Our physical talents and mental abilities vary, but it is within these differences that we choose to live our lives and share our dreams in hopes of educating one another and bettering ourselves. As sisters, we have come together from different creeds, ethnic groups, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My favorite thing about my sisterhood is how close we hold our pillar of multiculturalism. My sisters have taught me compassion and patience and have empowered me to be brave and to live my life unapologetically. Joining this sisterhood has not only made me a better leader but a better person as well. I now have hundreds of sisters who I know are there for me and could turn to for professional and academic advice. Navigating through college as a first generation student could be very difficult and isolating, but ever since joining, I have found a home away from home with a group of women who I know will always have my back. I could see how supporting they were of one another and how much they did for the community and I wanted to be a part of that. What initially drew me to LSG were the connections I made with sisters.
